Shapes Day

Today, our KG toddlers celebrated “Shapes Day”. We see shapes everywhere in our surrounding. This was to develop and deepen the knowledge of different shapes among the children. So they can relate the objects around them with respective shapes. The display board was filled with various geometric shapes. Games were conducted related to the shapes for the students simultaneously. Students recited rhymes based on shapes students brought objects and food related to specific shapes, so they could relate real objects with the shapes and spoke 2 to 3 lines about the shape of the food. It was a pleasant experience to hear from the little ones. Children enjoyed the activity lot and had lot of fun.
